RJB “Rebioin Journal of Biosciences” has been governed by Peer review policy with a set of guidelines and procedures that govern the process of evaluating the quality and validity of research before publication. Peer review policy of RJB involves the following steps:

  • A manuscript submitted to a journal is first checked for completeness and suitability by an editor or editorial staff.
  • If the manuscript meets the journal’s criteria, it is assigned to one or more peer reviewers who are experts in the field of the research.
  • The peer reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, significance, methodology, results, discussion and conclusions. They provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement, as well as a recommendation to accept, reject or revise the manuscript.
  • The editor considers the peer review reports and makes a final decision on the manuscript. The editor may also consult other editors or editorial board members for advice.
  • The authors are notified of the decision and receive the peer review reports. If the manuscript is accepted, it undergoes copyediting and proofreading before publication. If the manuscript is rejected, the authors may submit it to another journal or revise it based on the feedback. If the manuscript requires revision, the authors must address the comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within a specified deadline.
  • The revised manuscript may undergo another round of peer review. The process repeats until the manuscript is accepted or rejected.
